Enlarging the buttock using your own fat

Enlargement of the buttocks can be achieved by using the patient’s own fat tissue. This method can be taken into account when there is sufficient amount of fat present in the body otherwise, usually around the stomach or the lower parts of the body.

Excessive fatty tissue is removed by liposuction and then cleansed by special methods and then injected into the buttocks (subcutaneous tissue, in the muscle itself or below the muscle), enhancing the appearance of the complete buttocks.

This type of surgery can be performed under general or local anesthesia and leaves no visible scars. After surgery, the patient is unable to sit and lie on his back for 10-15 days.

After this intervention, the patient is released shortly after the short recovery on the same day or he / she may stay in the hospital one day in agreement with the surgeon.

Surgical enlargement of the butt with implants

Another principle of increasing the butt is by using implants. It is well known that many patients who want a different shape of the buttocks are moderate or extremely thin and therefore are not good candidates for enlarging the buttocks by using their own fat tissue because they thin and simply do not have enough fat to achieve this effect.

Therefore, the use of intramuscular implants is recommended in these cases. Enlargement of the patients’ buttocks is achieved by implant placement (filled with silicone gel) underneath the large gluteus muscle or in the muscle itself. It is performed through a cut in the middle line in the projection of the tail bone.

The intervention is done in total anesthesia and lasts for 1-2 hours and is completely comfortable for the patient. Patients are then held on intensive care and then sent to a hospital stationary for the purpose of monitoring and follow up care. As in the first case and here, the patient will not be able to sit and lie on their back 10 days after the surgical intervention.

Hospital stay after enlarging the buttocks with implants

After the intervention of the enlargement of the buttocks, the patient is kept in hospital treatment of 1 to 4 hospital days in agreement with the surgeon.

Enlarging of the buttocks using Fillers

Enlarging the buttocks of using fillers (Aqua-filling gel) is done by injecting the filler into the subcutaneous tissue (the space between the skin and the sedative muscle), whereby the filler is inserted through the 2-3 mm small cuts.

This surgical method of enlarging the backrest is quite comfortable for the patient. After such an intervention, the patient is unable to sit and lie on his back for about 10 days.

After the intervention of the extension of the forefoot filler, the patient is released on the same day after short-term recovery or retired at the hospital in agreement with the surgeon.

Recovery after the surgical enlargement of the buttocks

After the enlargement of the buttocks by the transfer of fatty tissue, implants or filaments, it should be avoided to sit or lie on the buttocks for the period of two to three weeks in order to achieve the maximum effect of the procedure.

During this period, a compression pad can be worn to reduce the swelling. Patients may experience pain or discomfort, bruising and swelling after the surgery. The swelling usually subsides up until the sixth week of recovery.

In the event of an enlargement of the buttocks, as we have already mentioned, the patient will not be able to sit for 10 to 15 days, and there will be minimal discomfort or pain.

In a surgical procedure involving implants, complete bending of the hip is limited to about a week, and the patient will not be able to sit for 10 to 14 days. During this period, it is important to allow the muscle layers to settle in their natural and in their correct position.

However, any postoperative pain or discomfort can be easily controlled using the use of appropriate painkillers.

Most patients return to work within two weeks after the operation and can continue all normal activities within four weeks.
