Face

Facelifting

Our experts will typically make the necessary incisions behind the ears and in the hairline. The goal is to make sure these incisions are not visible to the eye, and most of the time they will be easily concealed by your hair.
Absolutely! Facelifts are often combined with blepharopasty (eyelid surgery), brow lift surgery, facial-fat grafting, rhinoplasty, or chin implant surgery. In some situations, patients may even choose to have certain body procedures done at the same time to optimize their recovery period. Doctor will evaluate your specific concerns during your initial consultation to see if you would be an appropriate candidate for these additional procedures.
Many patients look and feel like “themselves” about 2 weeks after surgery. If you are comfortable enough, you may be able to return to work after 2 weeks, but you will still have physical restrictions for approximately 4-6 weeks after surgery.
There is no specific age that is considered appropriate for a facelift procedure. We see patients of all different ages, life stages, and backgrounds. The best way to know if you are truly ready is to come in for a consultation.
Drains are used after a facelift surgery and will be in place for approximately a few days. They are typically removed during your first postoperative visit to our office.

Eyelid surgery

Results of eyelid surgery typically last many years, depending on a variety of individual factors. The effects, however, are not permanent. You can often extend the outcome by maintaining good health following surgery.
Yes. In fact, for many of our patients, combining upper and lower blepharoplasty can offer the most optimal results.
Blepharoplasty, also called eyelid surgery, is a procedure designed to treat excess skin and fatty tissue of the upper and lower eyelids.
Anatomic indicators, not age, determine candidacy for eyelid surgery. We often see patients between the ages of 25 and 85 years of age requesting this procedure. As the rate people experience age and environmental effects can be highly individual, our cosmetic enhancement treatments are customized to suit each patient.

Cosmetic facial surgery

Absolutely! A rhinoplasty can be combined with almost any other procedure. Certain procedures can complement the results of rhinoplasty. For example, a chin implant or genioplasty can enhance the results of your procedure. Some patients prefer to have other unrelated procedures done at the same time to optimize their healing and recovery time.
The ideal age for female patients is at least 16 years of age and older, and for male patients, 18 years of age and older. Before those ages, the nose and mid-face are still undergoing progressive growth.

Breast

Cosmetic breast surgery

Breast Lift

Yes. A mastopexy is another term for a breast lift.
Yes of course! This procedure is one of most commonly. A big number of patients are concerned with both drooping of the breasts as well as a loss of volume. Childbirth, weight loss or age are most commonly reasons for this. A breast lift combined with breast augmentation will help to do both, lift the breast and add the volume and firmness you desire.
Having a breast lift will in no way affect your ability to have children. However, if you are considering having more children in the near future, it would be in your best interest to wait for a breast lift. You may require a revision procedure should you choose to have this done prior to having more children. This is a personal choice for all of our patients. It is important to discuss this with our plastic surgeons so they can help you come to the best decision.
There are three types of breast lift. A donut mastopexy has an incision that goes around the areola only and is appropriate when a moderate lift is needed. This lift is generally used in combination with breast augmentation. A vertical lift has an incision that goes around the areola and down the lower front of the breast. This type of lift is appropriate for most patients. The third type of breast lift uses an anchor-like incision that goes around the areola, down the lower front of the breast and along the crease beneath the breast. Severe drooping of the breast may require this type of breast lift. These incisions typically are easily concealed by your undergarments or bathing suit top.

Breast Reduction

The two main types of incisions used can look like either a lollipop or an anchor. The lollipop incision, also known as “vertical breast reduction,” goes around the areola and down the front of the breast. In most patients, this method is the ideal approach. Alternatively, an anchor-like incision may be used in breasts with greater drooping. This incision goes around the areola, down the lower front of the breast, and along the crease beneath the breast. These incisions typically are easily covered by your undergarments or bathing suit top.
Absolutely! A breast reduction can be combined with almost any other procedure. Some patients prefer to have other procedures done at the same time to optimize the healing and recovery time. Many patients will frequently combine their breast reduction with an abdominoplasty or liposuction.

Body

Liposuction

Liposuction will not get rid of cellulite, but it may help to make it less noticeable in some areas.
Absolutely! Often patients will have fat transferred to the buttocks or the facial area, depending on where they would like to see more volume. Please inform our Experts of the areas you hope to improve with fat grafting, to see if you are a good candidate for this procedure.
You will have certain physical restrictions for 4-6 weeks after surgery. This means you cannot exercise, go to the gym, or do any strenuous activity that will increase your heart rate during that time period.

Mommy Makeover

Cosmetic surgery after pregnancy process

Mommy Makeover

Mommy Makeover treatment consists of a combination of surgery procedures, designed to recognize the changes that occur in a female body after pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as effects of aging and gravity. Following operations can be included in Mommy Makeover procedure:

    • Tummy tuck
    • Liposuction (buttocks, tights and/or arms)
    • Breast surgery (augmentation, reduction and/or lift)
    • Upper arm skin surgery
    • Vaginal rejuvenation
Development of surgical techniques and increased awareness about the opportunities that Mommy Makeover treatment provides encourages women to restore their body to its pre-pregnancy state. A recent survey showed that in the US more than 325,000 Mommy Makeover surgeries have been performed on women between 20 and 39 years of age.
You will be given detailed instructions on how to best prepare for surgery. Patients should refrain from smoking and take any anti-inflammatory drugs and/or anticoagulant medications or supplements (e.g. aspirin, vitamin E supplements, garlic) for at least 2 weeks prior to surgery. They can increase the risk and lead to complications. An important part of recovery preparation includes:

    • Organize your business and schedule, so that you can completely relax and rest after the operation.
    • Arrange for transportation to and from the clinic after the operation (if you do not decide to stay in the stationary part of Atlas Hospital) – patients will not be allowed to go home alone upon discharge.
Mommy makeover procedure can vary in technique and duration, depending on which individual procedures are performed. Our surgeon will explain each procedure in detail during the consultation process, and once more before the operation to ensure that you fully understand what the operation involves.
A certain level of scarring after surgery is inevitable. Our surgeons are experts in creating a minimum surface scars and will make every effort to ensure that your wound is healing properly. Wherever possible, incisions are carefully placed in areas that are either well hidden on your body or can be easily covered with clothing. Most women are so satisfied with the outcome of their surgery, that the scars represent no problem.
